Fred Kurz 10 Mile Race - Saturday, April 14, 2012 51st Annual!! NEW Website coming soon!! The 10 mile race honors Fred Kurz one of the charter members of MDRA. He was The Fred Kurz 10 mile is a time handicapped race, meaning that runners start at different times depending on their ability and ideally all finish at the same time. Starting times are handicapped with the slowest runners starting first at 8:30 a.m. and the faster runners coming at pre determined start times until the fastest runner goes last. Ideally all runners finish at about the same time. We prefer pre-registrationwith a requirement of each entry listing two recent races of any distance to determine the start time for each runner. Check in starts at 7:30 a.m. at the Wayzata Central Middle School. Cost is $8 for MDRA members/$15 for all others. $20 for anyone including MDRA members who register on race day! REGISTER by printing a form off at raceberryjam and mailing it in the address listed. JOIN MDRA now to save!! The race is run out and back on the Luce Line trail. This is a great forgiving surface for an early season race. |
