Fall Marathon Training

Marathon Training Program  The Fall Class starts on Saturday, June 23rd with the first Saturday morning run
More info and registration links will be posted later this spring. 

The program has a Tuesday evening run with a speaker or coach info session; longer runs will be on Saturday mornings. The Tuesday and Saturday runs will meet at a variety of running locations.  Many of the long runs will include sections of the Twin Cities Marathon course. The classes are coached by certified coaches and include training topics such as injury prevention, and nutrition along with different training methods and philosophies.


C l a s s D e ta i l s
• Great for anyone who wants to run a fall marathon
• Suitable for runners of all levels and abilities
• Base mileage of 20-25 miles per week is recommended to start the program
• Training program meets for an orientation session on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.,
   first run is Saturday, June 23, 2012. Cost is $100 for MDRA members, $125 for non-members (includes 1 year membership)
