Jeff Winter City of Lakes Half Marathon

The Jeff Winter City of Lakes Half Marathon provides a great stand-alone challenge and/or a perfect training test for those running Twin Cities Marathon or other fall marathons. Selected to be the Minnesota Half Marathon championships and one of the USATF Minnesota Team Circuit events. 2016 USATF MN Team Circuit.

Start
8:00 AM Sharp! Race Start Line will be at Beard’s Plaisance, which is just south of 45th Street and the tennis courts .
Course Details

The half-marathon course is USATF certified. Race timing will also provide runners with a certified 10 mile split. The race finish line is at the Lake Harriet Bandshell. The course is traffic free and run mostly on the parkways surrounding the two inner-city lakes. Each mile is marked and water and powered are available at least every 5K. Chip Timing
Runners will receive net times as well as clock times, along with the certified 10 mile split.The chips are NOT disposable. A fee of $10 will be charged for chips lost or not returned.

All participants will receive the classic City of Lakes mug and a finisher medallion.

2017 Entry Information
2017 field limited to 1500 entries. Entries are neither transferable nor refundable after issue.

The 2017 early entry fee is $50.00 if received on or before May 31. Fees go to $55 if received between June 1 – July 31, $60 between August 1 and September 10. If space remains, registration will be available at packet pick-up on September 11th and 12th and also Race Day for $65. Early registration is encouraged. USATF members indicating their USATF number on their entries will be eligible for a $5.00 discount off the listed entry fees. MDRA members are also eligible for a $5.00 discount off the listed entry fees. Maximum total discount for members of both USATF and MDRA is $5.
